• About Us

The Valley Twisters Gymnastic Club offers recreational and competitive gymnastics programs in Valley City, ND. We are seeking a Head Coach who can provide safe and effective instruction, lead the coaching team, and help grow the program with energy and professionalism.

The Head Gymnastics Coach will oversee daily classes and team practices, ensure a safe training environment, and guide athletes through proper skill progressions. Gymnastics experience is required for athlete safety. Coaching experience is preferred, but related backgrounds such as exercise science, physical education, or community recreation will also be considered. USAG membership is preferred, with training available if needed for the right candidate.

Coach competitive gymnasts with a focus on proper technique and progressive skill development.

Maintain safety standards in the gym, including equipment checks and injury prevention protocols.

Develop and oversee lesson plans, practice schedules, and gymnast progression tracking.

Lead, mentor, and evaluate assistant coaches to ensure consistency across the program.

Communicate effectively with parents and club leadership about athlete progress and program updates.

Support community engagement through marketing, social media, and promotion of club events.

Coordinate scheduling, enrollment oversight, and rosters using club software (training provided)..

Gymnastics experience required (for athlete safety).

Coaching experience preferred (gymnastics, exercise science, PE, or community programming).

USAG professional membership and safety certification required upon hire.

CPR / First Aid certification required.

Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Basic computer skills and willingness to learn club software.

Salary starting at $40,000 (based on experience).
