Responsible for managing both the origination and distribution of syndicated loans led and co-led by CoBank. Coordinates with internal and external constituents to balance borrower customer and investor customer needs. Essential Functions
- Determines the pricing and structure of transactions launched into the market.
- Manages specific underwriting decisions and tracking / reporting of underwritten transactions.
- Tracks market behaviors and provides market updates to internal and external audiences.
- Manages relationships between teams including TOM, Sales / Trading, Analysts, Senior Associates, and Associate Directors and will be responsible for managing the deal training and development of Senior Associates.
- Oversees the lender invitation and allocation process in conjunction with other key internal constituents.
- Communicates investor feedback and recommends changes based on market feedback.
- Pitches new business to borrower customers and manages co-lead partner coordination.
- Engages with new and existing customers on market conditions and transaction structuring.
- Develops and pitches new ideas to existing and prospective customers.
- Works with the Capital Markets Division Head and Syndicate Head of Origination on management responsibilities, reporting requirements, budgeting decisions, and strategic business reviews.
- Where CoBank leads transactions, manages the dialog and coordination among co-lead partners to provide consistent messaging to involved parties.
- Encourages, engages, and provides updates to new and existing customers as it relates to capital market conditions, marketplace, transactions, market updates, industry structuring deal advice and representing the division for all new customer business matters.
- Balances risk and return deal metrics designed to achieve profitable outcomes.
- Provides mentoring and coaching support to other staff.
- Strong business knowledge and experience interpreting financial data.
- Ability to effectively research new markets.
Education
Bachelor's Degree requiredMaster's Degree or MBA preferredWork Experience

The typical base pay range for this role is between $192,000 - $236,160. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
