Job Purpose : Responsible for providing professional and friendly service to guests at The IowaStater Restaurant. To enthusiastically deliver first-class service and hospitality that exceeds guest expectations. Consistently delivering The GATE-way, from when the first guest arrives to when the last guest leaves.
Essential Functions :
- Deliver hospitality to guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Accurately and efficiently take orders from guests and enter into MICROS system.
- Anticipate guests needs.
- Engage guests in feedback on their meal and service.
- Promote The IowaStater Restaurant and all of its products and services.
- Deliver the GATE way service standards and exemplify Gateway Values
- Set up and execute private parties and reservations.
- Effective communication between front of house and back of house.
- Exhibit strong teamwork with all hotel staff.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety Standards at all times
- Complete weekly and daily cleaning duties.
- Maximize productivity by working efficiently and in a timely manner
- Maintain inherent attention to detail
