job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMedicare and Medicaid pending experience in a skilled nursing facility A / R experience required Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting principles for skilled nursing facilities Experience with billing in a skilled nursing facility required Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED. Receive and follow schedule / instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures. Assist in organizing, planning and directing the administrative activities in accordance with established policies and procedures. Maintain minutes of meetings. File as necessary. Serves as a key representative of the community and makes an active contribution towards community relations, public regard and overall awareness of the community. Supports the Administrator, DON & Business Office Manager in administration tasks. Performs clerical, accounting functions such as cash receipts and ancillary data. May assist with HR and payroll duties. Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other departments within the facility. Assist in recording all incidents / accidents. File in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assist in administrative studies and projects as assigned or that may become necessary. Ensure that administrative personnel follow established ergonomics policies and procedures governing lifting techniques, repetitive tasks, and the use of safety equipment and supplies to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses. Ensure that an adequate supply of office supplies and equipment are on hand to meet the day-to-day operational needs of the facility. Agree not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator. Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.
