Lead Veterinary Customer Service Representative

Are you a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist or CSR looking to grow into a leadership role? Plateau Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Lead Veterinary Customer Service Representative to guide our front desk team and ensure a seamless client experience.

Located in the heart of beautiful Crossville, TN, we are a busy, high-quality small animal hospital that values teamwork, empathy, and excellent client communication.

What You'll Do

As the Lead CSR, you'll be the face of our practice and a key team leader. Your responsibilities will include :

Welcoming clients and patients with warmth and professionalism

Managing multi-line phone systems : scheduling appointments, addressing client questions, and providing support

Acting as a point of contact for the CSR team : offering training, daily support, and leadership

Overseeing front desk operations : opening / closing duties, supply inventory, and workspace organization

Confirming appointments, managing cancellations / reschedules, and ensuring smooth patient flow

Maintaining accurate client and patient records in our practice management software

Handling payments, invoices, and end-of-day reconciliations

Coordinating communication between clients and the medical team

Following up on lab results, prescription refills, and treatment plans

De-escalating concerns with empathy and professionalism

Promoting a positive, team-first culture through strong communication and leadership

What We're Looking For

Minimum 1 year of veterinary front desk experience is required

Previous leadership or team lead experience is strongly preferred

Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

A friendly, proactive, and professional demeanor

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

Commitment to exceptional service and teamwork

Schedule

Monday & Tuesday : 7 : 45am - 5 : 30pm

Wednesday : 7 : 45am - 12 : 00pm

Thursday & Friday : 7 : 45am - 5 : 30pm

Compensation & Benefits

Starting at $16.50 / hour based on experience, especially in a leadership role
