As a Security Professional - Media Patrol in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic technology-focused environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your approachable demeanor and strong communication skills will provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors alike. Pay Rate : $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeThur 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 30 PMFri 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 30 PMSat 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PMSun 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues as outlined in site-specific protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and / or employees while representing Allied Universal.
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by management to support the security-related needs of the location.
  • Assist with access control and / or visitor management as required by site-specific procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
