Job Summary
Oversight of medical students, residents, and midlevel provider partnerships with regional training programs; risk management assessment programs, for MDH medical staff. Execution of all in-house sourcing activities for provider related recruitment initiatives. Management of new provider onboarding activities for MDH Medical Staff. Management, Human Resources and coordination of provider related initiatives including educational, locum tenens scheduling, time off and benefit time management (as needed).
Job Specifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Bachelors degree in related field required or applicable experience. Project management experience with proven computer skills and evidence of a satisfactory work experience. Must possess a strong ability to work with a wide range of administration and clinical personnel a must.
JOB KNOWLEDGE :
General knowledge of office management principles and procedures.
Competency in word processing, prioritizing workload, filing skills and other clerical duties.
The patient populations must be considered when assessing job knowledge required from the employee.
Competency with all Microsoft application and strong web-based skills.
Knowledge of medical office functions.
ABILITIES, INTERESTS AND TEMPERAMENTS :
Ability to handle incoming / outgoing telephone calls and visitors in an appropriate manner that will enhance and preserve public relations.
Absolute integrity and sufficient maturity to handle confidential respects of the position.

Must completed ongoing hospital-wide CBLs (computerized based learning) participates in departmental inservices and demonstrates competency by specific competency testing / evaluation program, as appropriate. Continuing education programs are designed to augment the staff's knowledge of pertinent developments in patient care and to foster a performance improvement environment.
Must have the ability to work with a variety of people of diverse populations (e.g. cultural diversity, employee workforce, ages from adult through geriatrics, hearing impaired, physical and mental disabilities and variety of educational and cognitive levels).
