Responsibilities Position is based in a Labor & Delivery unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting This is a Level I Trauma Center with a large patient volume Night shifts are scheduled as three 12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 to 7 : 30) Call is required for 16 hours within a six-week schedule block Every other weekend is required Floating within scope is expected to meet facility needs Epic EMR is used and prior experience is necessary RN scrub uniforms are provided by the facility Primary responsibility is the care of high-risk laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced environment First-time travelers are accepted for this position Team environment with support from experienced staff More than 7 days of requested time off requires special approval Parking is available at a cost to the employee All RNs must participate in emergency response activities as needed Requirements Active RN license required prior to start date; pending license applicants must apply prior to submission Minimum 2 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience required (1.5 years accepted with Level I or travel experience) BLS and NRP certifications are required Epic charting experience is required Previous trauma center experience in a large facility is necessary Will not accept local candidates living within a 75-mile radius of the facility Returning employees must have not worked at the facility in the past 2 years as permanent staff Completion of required modules before start One professional reference is required for consideration Flu vaccine is mandatory without declinations accepted; COVID vaccination or approved exemption required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-600589.
