Collections Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, providing exceptional support via phone and email, and leveraging their technical skills to manage and analyze data effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update customer account information to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
  • Design, implement, and manage Excel spreadsheets for data tracking and analysis.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decisions.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to perform daily tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in data entry and customer service.
  • Basic computer skills and clerical knowledge.
  • Understanding of accounts receivable / accounts payable processes.
  • Ability to master efficient, accurate data entry using Microsoft Office, including order entry and data management.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with JD Edwards ERP system is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Environment

    Work in the office with the rest of the team in a cubicle-type setting.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00 / hr.
