Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment, providing valuable services throughout the school year on a contract basis.
Responsibilities include :
- Assisting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Delivering speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Preparing materials and documenting progress according to established protocols.
- Collaborating with teachers and other educational staff to support student development.
- Participating in meetings and training sessions as needed to enhance skills and program effectiveness.
Qualifications :
Valid SLPA certification or licensure as required by the state.Experience working with children in a K-12 educational or clinical setting.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and maintain accurate records.Flexibility and professionalism in a school environment.Location :
