Job Title : Manufacturing Engineer

Client : Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company

Duration : 2 Years (possible extension)

Location : Horicon, WI 53032

Shift : 1st Shift | 5 : 00 AM – 1 : 30 PM

Role Overview :

Supports manufacturing engineering, process improvement, and product development initiatives in a team environment. Works both on the shop floor and on project-based engineering tasks under guidance from senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support manufacturing engineering work : analysis, process specification, continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to feasibility testing, drafting standards, evaluating effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers within contract management plans.
  • Conduct inspections and recommend remedial actions.
  • Participate in product development, project management, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Spend ~50% of time on the shop floor; occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, etc.) or 5+ years relevant experience.
  • 2–3 years in a manufacturing environment; assembly experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for all organizational levels.

  • Metatarsal shoes required for Day 1.
  • Cross-border work not permitted.
