Subcontract Management Senior

You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the THAAD Global Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of quality products to our customers, working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment to make all the pieces of the puzzle fit together.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontract Management Senior, you will lead an aggressive capacity effort across multiple suppliers and locations to ensure desired rates supporting the THAAD program are achieved on time or ahead of schedule. You will serve as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers, driving communication, expediting capacity schedules, and tracking overall program status. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Leading capacity efforts across multiple suppliers and locations
  • Communicating customer concerns and expediting capacity schedules
  • Tracking overall program status and ensuring timely delivery of quality products
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results

Further Information About This Opportunity

This position is in Dallas. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Desired Skills

Experience managing supplier capacity efforts. Experience managing cost type subcontracts. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting types In depth knowledge of all types of contracts and how to utilize which type in various program scenarios. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines Experience with long-form subcontracts utilizing Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) Aerospace program negotiation skills and experience Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure Experienced presenter to Program Management and Customer representative Self Motived with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks / assignments Self Motived with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks / assignments Strong communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management Ability to be flexible and accept change Must be able to resolve complex problems in a fast-paced environment. Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in dynamic work environment; ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions by exercising sound problem solving skills
