Job Summary

The position assist with coordination and support for federally funded research grants at the MIND Institute that are examining community implementation of evidence-base practices related to early intervention services and school systems' implementation of interventions for children diagnosed with autism and other developmental conditions.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and / or certification if required of the position

• B.A. / B.S. in Psychology, Human Development or similar field and / or equivalent combination of experience / training.
• Experience volunteering or working in a research setting
• Knowledge of HIPAA standards and regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to clearly and effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals at all levels within the organization to secure and / or provide information to clarify situations, resolve problems, and to foster and promote the goals of the organization.
• Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines, develop and carry out project assignments in an efficient and timely manner, and to provide accurate and succinct documentation of activities.
• Skills to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge about autism and developmental disabilities
• Experience creating and administrating research surveys
• Demonstrated skills of data management (including entry and tracking)
• Experience with research participant recruitment and scheduling
• Knowledge or experience coordinating community partnership meetings and community outreach events
• Knowledge about the Service Delivery System for Early Intervention and School-Age children
• Demonstrated skills to perform detail-oriented tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficiency with databases systems such as Qualtrics or RedCAP

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences has approximately 65 residents in six residency training programs and 90 faculty and staff psychiatrists and psychologists at the UC Davis Medical Center and the Northern California VA Health System.
