Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A skilled Respiratory Therapist is needed to provide critical respiratory care to patients within a healthcare setting in Pinckney, MI. This contract position offers an opportunity to utilize your expertise in delivering life-support, resuscitation, and medical gases therapy while working primarily nights on a 3 / 12 schedule.

Location : Pinckney, MI offers a weling munity with a small-town atmosphere surrounded by natural beauty, including nearby lakes and parks that promote an active, outdoor lifestyle. It is an ideal setting for healthcare professionals seeking a balance between meaningful work and quality of life.

Schedule & Hours :

  • Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts
  • 1845 to 0715, every other weekend

Responsibilities :

  • Provide life-support and resuscitation services to critically ill patients under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor
  • Perform invasive and non-invasive respiratory diagnostic procedures in both Intensive Care and General Practice Units
  • Deliver various medical gases therapies as ordered
  • Maintain clinical proficiency across different hospital units as assigned
  • Effectively municate with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members to assess and meet patient care needs
  • Accurately document all aspects of respiratory care and ensure proper patient billing
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to Respiratory Therapists, orientees, externs, and students as assigned
  • Qualifications & Desired Experience :

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Demonstrated skills in assessing and treating respiratory conditions using advanced techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Strong munication and documentation skills
