Winston Psychiatry is a compassionate, client-focused psychiatric practice located in Dunwoody, Georgia, dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health care. Our team is growing, and we are seeking a warm, highly organized Front Office Administrator to be the first point of contact for our patients and to help ensure the smooth daily operation of our office. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, check them in, and assist with forms or questions
  • Answer and route phone calls in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Schedule and confirm appointments using electronic medical records (EMR) system
  • Verify insurance and collect co-pays / payments
  • Maintain organized and confidential patient records
  • Assist with billing support and office inventory
  • Uphold HIPAA and practice confidentiality standards at all times
  • Support occasional marketing and communications efforts experience with social media platforms is a plus
  • Comfort with AI tools or interest in learning AI-assisted administrative tasks is a bonus

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of front desk medical receptionist or administrative experience (mental health setting preferred)
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must have a commute of approximately 30 minutes from our office in Dunwoody, Georgia
  • Proficient in scheduling software and EMR systems (e.g., Advanced MD, SimplePractice, Kareo, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Excel and Spreadsheets
  • Familiarity with insurance verification and basic billing is a plus
  • High school diploma required; associates or bachelors degree a plus
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Team player with leadership abilities
  • Prior authorization experience is a plus
  • Compensation
