About Our Company :

AA Equipment Company, Inc. is a well-established company located in south Minneapolis specializing in commercial refrigeration equipment and store fixtures for the grocery, convenience, and liquor retail industries. We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a fulltime equipment installer and shop technician.

Job Responsibilities :

Deliver and install commercial equipment and fixtures

Setup walk-in coolers / freezers

Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, installation manuals

Assist in a shop environment helping to assemble and fabricate equipment

Maintain a neat and clean installation process

Maintain a professional and polite attitude

Safely operate various pieces of installation equipment and power tools

Job Requirements and Qualifications :

Ability to lift and exert physical strength

Valid Drivers License

Experience operating a forklift

Carpentry skills with proven experience

Attention to detail and quality

Ability to follow directions and work with others in a team environment

Knowledge and experience of electrical, plumbing, mechanical fields a plus

Experience working in the rigging, moving, delivery, or installation fields a plus

Terms of employment :

Hours : Monday Friday 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM. Some overtime may occasionally be required. Some travel may be required; however, you are typically home every night.

Compensation will depend upon experience and credentials.
