Overview

Cybersecurity Engineering Analyst

Provide subject matter expertise in support of cybersecurity activities. Review and evaluate defensive measures and information collection from a variety of sources to identify, analyze, and report events that occur or might occur within the network to protect information, information systems, and networks from threats. Conduct policy analysis, product assurance evaluations, and security posture presentations. Review and provide input to security engineering activities, implementing, deploying, maintaining, reviewing, and administering the infrastructure hardware and software that are required to effectively manage the Computer Network Defense Service Provider (CNDSP) network and resources. Monitor network to actively remediate unauthorized activities.

Responsibilities

Include the following responsibilities to support cybersecurity activities and network defense :

• Review and evaluate defensive measures and information collection from a variety of sources.
• Identify, analyze, and report events that occur or might occur within the network to protect information, information systems, and networks from threats.
• Conduct policy analysis, product assurance evaluations, and security posture presentations.
• Review and provide input to security engineering activities, implementing, deploying, maintaining, reviewing, and administering the infrastructure hardware and software required to manage the CNDSP network and resources.
• Monitor the network to actively remediate unauthorized activities.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
