Construction Project Manager - Multifamily / Senior Living

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and client communication.

Base pay range : $100,000.00 / yr - $130,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Scheduling : Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of all project phases.
• Budget Management : Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures where possible. Regularly monitor project finances to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Resource Allocation : Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to allocate resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and manpower. Ensure that all resources are utilized efficiently to meet project objectives.
• Contract Management : Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and other third-party vendors. Ensure that all parties adhere to contractual agreements and meet quality and safety standards.
• Quality Control : Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures throughout the construction process. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and client requirements.
• Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively. Proactively address any issues or obstacles that may arise during the construction process to minimize disruptions and delays.
• Client Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the construction project. Provide regular updates on project progress, address any concerns or questions, and ensure client satisfaction with the final deliverables.
• Team Leadership : Lead and motivate project teams, including construction managers, supervisors, and subcontractors, to achieve project goals. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment conducive to high performance and productivity.
• Health and Safety Compliance : Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and protocols on the construction site. Implement and enforce safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and correspondence. Generate comprehensive project reports for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, achievements, and challenges.
