Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.

Be part of an interdisciplinary team that provides individuals an opportunity for recovery management so they can live and work independently in their home and community.

In a typical week, you will complete assessments and service plans. You will be involved in the organizing, directing, and guiding of care provided by other team members, as well as ongoing monitoring and update of service recommendations. You will provide skills training, as well as individual, family, and group therapy. You will provide crisis intervention and risk assessments in the office, in the community and on-call. Also, you will provide education and consultation to families, community, interns, and residents.

To be considered for the Clinician position , you are required to have a master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or areas approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners and ND licensure as a LCSW or LPCC. OR a Doctorate in Psychology and ND licensure as a psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners.

We will consider filling this position as a Human Relations Counselor at a reduced rate.

Human Relations Counselors must have master's degrees in Counseling and LAPC licensure, as well as be within two years of LPCC licensure. Details regarding licensure status and the number of training hours already obtained must be submitted with the application.

• OR a master's degree in Social Work and LMSW licensure
• OR a master's degree in Counseling and LPC licensure

If unable to find fully licensed candidates, we will consider filling this position as a Behavior Modification Specialist - Adult, which requires a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, child development and family science, or communication disorders; OR a bachelor's degree in one of the above fields and two years of related work experience, in the respective discipline.

This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.

Schedule :

Hybrid Schedule that includes rotation of overnight shifts. Overnight shifts consist of being onsite at the crisis unit until 11 pm as well as responding to calls in the community, then taking calls from home the remainder of the night until 8am. The average number of overnight shifts per month is 4-5, including one weekend every other month. Day shift is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5pm.
