job_description.job_card.job_descriptionUnit Size : 30 beds Patient Population : Adults aged 18 and older Nurse to Patient Ratio : 4-6 patients per RN Department Culture : Supportive environment with Oncology Nursing Society resources, Active Shared Governance, and a Mentor / Mentee Program for New Grads and those pursuing Oncology Nursing Certification. Skills & Equipment : Focus on inpatient chemotherapy, radiation, palliative care, and general medical patients. Sign-On Bonus : $10,000 (3-Year Commitment) Relocation Assistance : $2,500 for moves between 50-100 miles BSN Bonus : $2,500 for external applicants with over 1 year of RN experience Perform all nursing duties specific to the unit's scope of service. Conduct initial patient assessments and develop tailored care plans. Implement and modify care plans based on continuous evaluation. Ensure patient and employee safety by addressing hazards and incidents. Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide constructive feedback. Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy, not only on the Oncology unit but throughout the hospital. Provide emotional support to patients and their families. Certifications : Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Illinois Education : College Diploma in Nursing Experience : Relevant nursing experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $31.65 - $54.44 per hour . This range reflects a good faith minimum and maximum for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience, qualifications, and shifts worked.
