Responsibilities Work in a short-term acute care hospital Operating Room Day shift schedule, five 8-hour shifts per week from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm Call required : one weekday call per week (5 : 30 pm - 6 : 00 am) and one weekend of call per month (Friday 4 : 30 pm through Monday 6 : 00 am) Floating within scope is required but only to tasks, not full assignments Patients include surgical, C-section, and orthopedic cases Experience with circulating and PACU required Uses Meditech electronic charting Scrubs are provided Must be able to float to affiliate hospitals as needed based on volume or census First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment Locals accepted; candidates living within 50 miles are considered local Up to 8 hours of required modules should be completed within one week of signing offer No charge for parking at facility Return staff must have a 3-year gap before being eligible for travel assignments Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed; if requesting time off during holidays, must work at least one of the three major holidays Requirements Active IN or compact state RN license required by start date Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, and PALS Prior experience with C-sections, ortho cases, circulating, and PACU required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619985.
