SHIPPING COORDINATOR ($21-$32 per hour)

Summary

A Shipping Coordinator is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments both domestic and international. As such, they must understand and comply with US Import / Export controls and reporting. They also perform Shipping Clerk duties when needed.

Essential Duties

• Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and dispatching outgoing shipments.
• Process internal reworks and customer returns.
• Keep files of goods shipped and received by properly filing paperwork.
• Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
• Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems.
• Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them.
• Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
• Willingness to undergo coursework as needed to understand and apply EAR. (Export Administration Regulations)
• Maintain a professional presence with all levels of the organization.
• Maintain positive and productive working relationships with employees and supervisors throughout the company.
• Adhere to SEHA Guiding Principles and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Will perform other projects and tasks, as directed. Some duties may differ based on assigned area.

This position is 100% on-site work. Most work will be performed in an office environment. Must wear required protective equipment and clothing when necessary. Must be able to read, comprehend, execute, and communicate instructions and procedures. Requires an ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time.
