This in-office position is based out of Rockstar’s new studio on the Westside of Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily tasks to set up facial capture equipment prior to talent arrival.
  • Support the larger capture team during Performance Capture shoots and / or ADR / VO sessions.
  • Prep talent with on-body capture equipment and adjust hardware between takes.
  • Monitor multiple video feeds to ensure proper alignment of performance data.
  • Identify problems quickly and provide solutions to keep systems and equipment operational in real time.
  • Communicate and document when equipment needs maintenance or supplies need replenishment.
  • Support inter-departmental workflows to keep up with production pace and demands.
  • Ensure quality and continuity of all recorded videos.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a film and / or TV production environment.
  • Experience using still and video cameras, including knowledge of f-stop, shutter speed / angles, depth of field, etc.
  • Basic understanding of video signals, connectors, and cabling.
  • Able to troubleshoot problems quickly under pressure.
  • Experience with file and data wrangling with meticulous organization.
  • Ability to physically lift and move heavy objects and equipment.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Monday.

  • Able to prioritize multiple requests from various disciplines such as ADs, animators, and directors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to perform jobs efficiently.
  • Strong reliability and commitment to quality work and performance.
  • Ability to stay calm, work hard, and find solutions.
  • Strong technical, math, and 3D problem-solving skills.

    • Pluses

  • Experience with editing software such as Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro (desirable but not required).

    Compensation

    The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is CA Hourly $26—$28 USD per hour, with base pay offered based on market location and other factors. Total compensation may include bonus and / or equity, plus a full range of benefits. If hired, the employee will be in an at-will position and the company may modify compensation and benefits.
