Candidates must be board certified and fellowship trained in MSK radiology, with strong clinical skills and experience in various imaging modalities.

Diagnostic Radiologist Locums Job Chicago, Illinois Area Ongoing Coverage

Assignment Details / Requirements :

Board Certified in Radiology and fellowship trained in MSK radiology is required

Active Illinois license required (or in process)

BLS certification is required

Experience with procedures : MRI, CT, joint injection / aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue / bone biopsy are required

Will join a growing Radiology department of over 50 subspecialized radiologists supporting clinical services across multiple hospital based locations and associated ambulatory care centers.

Exhibit strong clinical skills to work effectively and efficiently across the full spectrum of imaging modalities / procedures relevant to MSK imaging.

Two types of call : Weekday call average once a week. Weekend call about 7 calls per year. Call duties are fulfilled remotely with PAC / Voice recognition systems.

Average number of cases per day : mix plain film and cross sectional. 110 x-rays, 20 MRIs / CT / Ultrasound.

Radiologists in practice : MSK is 4.8 FTEs-department 41 FTE

Patient age demographic : all ages
