Job Description

As a Security Officer - Telecom Site - Full Time in Milwaukee, WI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a secure atmosphere while supporting the needs of our clients and their employees. This position requires a valid driver's license and involves driving responsibilities as you move throughout the location. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing training and site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including both the business interior and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel and / or authorities.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff, visitors, and clients within the tech, media, or telecom environment.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of site operations.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
