Clearance : Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility (TS / SCI)

Work Schedule : Onsite Monday - Friday

Role Overview :

The COMSEC Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI) planning software while supporting test and engineering events by troubleshooting COMSEC issues as they arise. This role involves configuring layer 3 devices for IPSEC tunneling and routing protocols such as EIGRP and OSPF, as well as performing network performance tests across Layers 1–4 using tools like IXIA, Spirent, IPerf, and T-BERD. The engineer will also develop and implement automation and analysis tools using scripting environments such as Python, PowerShell, MATLAB, and LABVIEW to support data collection, reduction, and event logging. Additionally, they will operate traffic generators and network analyzers to ensure optimal network performance and may be required to lift and move radio equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
