As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. By conducting routine patrols and assisting with access control, you will play a crucial role in supporting the well-being of everyone at the location. Job Schedule : Day Time Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors in a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain a secure environment within the healthcare facility.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter disruptions and support a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
