Summary : The Culture & Talent Specialist will support the design and execution of programs that enhance Pacific Seafood’s culture, employee engagement, and talent development.
- This role will assist in implementing culture initiatives, conducting assessments and focus groups, coordinating engagement activities, and supporting training delivery.
In addition, the Specialist will collaborate on talent management processes such as 9-box reviews, succession planning, and career development activities. Key Responsibilities :
1.Organizational Culture & Metrics :
Support the Sr.Manager in executing culture initiatives aligned with the Diamond Philosophy. Design, track, and report on culture metrics to measure engagement, commitment, and cultural alignment. Research and propose meaningful metrics or indices to evaluate employee engagement and organizational commitment. Conduct and facilitate focus groups, interviews, and diagnostics to identify cultural strengths, gaps, and opportunities. Coordinate engagement and recognition activities, team-building events, and culture campaigns. 2.Training & Facilitation :
Deliver training sessions on culture, values, and talent tools, as assigned. Facilitate workshops and focus groups related to engagement, collaboration, and performance. Assist in preparing materials, presentations, and logistics for culture and learning programs. 3.Talent Management Support :
Provide administrative and coordination support for talent management processes (9-box, talent reviews, succession planning). Support managers in capturing and following up on individual development plans and talent discussions. Assist in documenting and reporting insights from calibration and review sessions. 4.Communication & Project Support :
Draft communications, visuals, and reports related to culture and talent initiatives. Maintain project trackers, dashboards, and documentation for ongoing programs. Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and stakeholder engagement for culture and talent activities. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position. What you Bring to Pacific Seafood : Required : Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Education, Communications, or related field; or equivalent experience. 2–3 years of experience in HR, culture / engagement, or training support roles. Experience facilitating focus groups, workshops, or training sessions. Strong interpersonal / communication skills—able to establish effective working relationships Familiarity with surveys, employee engagement tools, or culture diagnostics. Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content. Preferred : Exposure to talent management processes such as 9-box or succession planning. Experience analyzing engagement or culture survey data and recommending action plans. Experience in a multi-site or fast-paced operational environment. Bilingual written, verbal, and reading skills in English and Spanish. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise, Storyline).
