Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,720 - $1,840 per week Key Job Details – Med / Surg Tele RN Location : Tuscaloosa, Alabama (35401) – Alabama healthcare jobs Position : Travel Med / Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Setting : Multi-specialty Medical / Surgical Telemetry Unit Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 2 / 21 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), every other weekend and holidays as needed Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Employment Type : Travel Nursing – Registered Nurse jobs Parking : On-site available Scrub Colors : Solid Navy Qualifications – Med / Surg Tele RN Associate Degree in Nursing (required) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact State (no temporary licenses) BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (will consider 18 months with at least 1 year in Med / Surg Tele specialty) Experience with Meditech EMR preferred Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed Responsibilities – Travel Med / Surg Telemetry RN Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to medical and surgical patients, including those requiring dialysis and telemetry monitoring Manage orthopedic and general surgical patient populations (e.g., fractures, appendectomy, hernia repair) Focus on pain management, mobility, and prevention of complications Collaborate with a dedicated team of nursing and ancillary staff to support optimal patient outcomes Maintain a nurse / patient ratio of 1 : 6, supported by a Team Leader Float to other units and hospitals as required Experience the supportive healthcare environment of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, while making a meaningful impact as a Med / Surg Telemetry RN.
