Key Job Details - Med / Surg RN Travel Assignment Location : Pratt, KS (zip 67124) - Kansas healthcare jobs Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Unit : Medical Surgical (Med / Surg), Orthopedic, General Surgery Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM), weekdays and some weekends Hours per Week : 36 Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 - End : 2 / 9 / 2026) Patient Ratio : 4 : 1 Setting : Community hospital with interdisciplinary clinical support Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570-$1680 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience Active Kansas RN license or Compact State RN license BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred Experience with TRUBRIDGE (formerly CPSI) EMR strongly preferred IV start, telemetry, and charge nurse experience preferred Orthopedic (total hips and knees) and rural health experience a plus First-time travel nurses and local candidates welcome Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective nursing care to medical and surgical patients Manage post-op joints, orthopedic, and general surgery cases Start and maintain IVs, administer medications, and monitor telemetry Float to ER, ICU, and LDRP units as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and more Provide care for all age groups : infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics Maintain accurate documentation using TRUBRIDGE EMR Participate in orientation and complete required modules prior to start Apply now to join our healthcare team in Pratt, Kansas and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
