What You'll Do
- As a Full-Time Underwriting Analyst in the LAUNCH Program, participate in structured training sessions focusing on technical training and professional development opportunities. These sessions will combine classroom and hands-on learning to establish a solid foundation in underwriting concepts and principles.
- Apply concepts by working on active business opportunities alongside a mentor, gaining independence in daily work and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
Assess risk and underwrite prospective and inforce clients within Group Benefit Solutions product portfolio : Life, Accident, Disability, Absence Administration, and Voluntary BenefitsCommunicate pricing, profitability, and risk profile of clients with internal matrix partnersContribute to company financial goals through risk decisions while balancing broader book performancePartner with underwriting team members to solve problems and negotiate with matrix partners to create long-term value for clients and the organizationCollaborate with others to deliver effective risk management and underwriting solutionsProfessional Development & Leadership

Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Business Management, or related field preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred 3.0 GPA or higherHigh comfort with mathematicsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated leadership potential and customer-centric mindsetStrong business acumen with leadership and innovative thinkingSome travel may be requiredPay & Benefits
