Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk / Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a professional office environment, providing administrative support, and assisting with accounting functions. Key Responsibilities : Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Draft, send, and follow up on client invoices. Communicate directly with clients regarding billing, payments, and general inquiries. Process payments and basic transactions using QuickBooks. Provide general administrative support including filing, scanning, and correspondence. Maintain accurate records and ensure timely data entry. Assist with scheduling and coordination of internal / external meetings. Support management and accounting staff as needed. Qualifications : Prior experience in an administrative, accounting, or bookkeeping role preferred. Basic knowledge of QuickBooks (processing payments, entering invoices, etc.). Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written. Professional phone etiquette and client service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to multi-task and handle confidential information with discretion.
