Deep understanding of credit research workflows , with proven experience working alongside credit analysts and portfolio managers. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and investment processes. Proficiency in : SQL – for data validation and exploration. AWS – particularly data services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda). Python – for prototyping analytical tools and performing data analysis. Strong command of business analysis practices , including : Agile methodologies Use case and workflow documentation Data mapping and transformation Acceptance criteria and test planning Excellent communication skills – capable of clearly translating technical issues into business context and vice versa. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. CFA Certification or progress toward completion. Familiarity with third-party credit platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, MSCI). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Exposure to machine learning or AI frameworks in financial modeling is a plus.

Your Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and technically savvy Senior Business Analyst [Consultant] to join our Credit Research Technology team. You will be embedded within a dynamic group focused on building innovative research and investment tools used by credit analysts and portfolio managers.
Working closely with product owners, developers, and investment professionals, you will play a pivotal role in shaping solutions that drive smarter investment decisions across our fixed income portfolios.
Your Impact
As a Senior Business Analyst [Consultant] , you will :
- Lead the definition and delivery of business and system requirements to support credit research, model-driven analysis, and portfolio management tools.
- Serve as a key liaison between credit analysts, portfolio managers, and technology teams to ensure business needs are translated into scalable, high-performance technical solutions.
- Drive end-to-end documentation and stakeholder alignment across agile delivery cycles.
- Help shape the data strategy for credit research by integrating credit model data, issuer fundamentals, ESG inputs, and alternative datasets into the research ecosystem.
- Influence the firm's digital transformation initiatives through delivery excellence and thought leadership.
