Security Officer

Job Duties :

• Patrols assigned site on foot or in a vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Responding to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment, appropriate escalation, and use of force are required.
• Working directly with law enforcement, government staffing, and the community.
• Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.
• Security screening all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities.
• Monitors surveillance cameras. The ability to utilize a tablet, computer, or smartphone.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, count,y and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers.
