• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.\n
• Must have at least 24 months of PCU Float Pool experience within the past 3 years.\n
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months\n\nRequirements\n
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).\n
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations\n
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates cannot live in the following states : Arizona.\n
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.\n
• 12 months between Staff at Program : AHSA Program - Banner Health\n\nPre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.\n\nAdditional Details\n\nNo travel pairs or trios.\n\nNo scheduling requests (weekends only, block scheduling, etc)\n\nNo background hits.\n\nClinicians cannot be local (have a permanent address in the state of AZ).\n\nNursys required.\n\nThe Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that floats throughout our 2 campuses, BUMC-Tucson (Level I Trauma 625 beds) and BUMC-South (Level IV Trauma 245 beds), to provide support where necessary. BUMC-Tucson Campus has the following Adult Health units with patients that range from Observation (2 units), Med Surg (4 units), to PCU and IMC (total 11 units). PCU travelers may be floated to any of these units during their contract.\n\nOccasionally, they may be floated to the ED or the PACU to take Adult Health patients with inpatient orders waiting on a bed on a unit. BUMC-South Campus is approximately a 10-minute drive from BUMC-Tucson. It has 4 Adult Health units (1 OBS, 2 PCU, and 1 MS) which they may float.\n\nLarge Hospital Experience Is Required.\n\n7 days maximum time off.
