Due to continued growth we are searching for Local Truck Driver CDL A Tanker Hazmat Driver in Kalama, WA.

Compensation

  • Hourly pay $38.00 per hour
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
  • Typical work week is 55-65 hours
  • Annual salary increased based on performance
  • $50.00 per diem when overnight
  • Bi-weekly paychecks

    • Benefits - Eligibility begins 1 st of the month after 30 days employment

  • Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription drug, and Voluntary Life)
  • 12 Paid Holidays per year
  • Earn PTO (personal time off) per hours worked starting on first day of employment, up to 16 days the first year. Annual PTO increases with tenure.

    • Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • Start times vary, typically around 2am-4am,depending on routes (deliveries made between 7am-3pm).
  • Possibility of 2-4 overnights per month, may include some weekends.
  • No slip-seating; you are assigned your own truck.
  • Make 1-4 stops per day
  • Must be flexible with work schedule and route assignments.
  • TRAINING : Candidates will spend 3 weeks in Fontana, CA for training, all expenses paid.

    • Responsibilities

  • Delivering and unloading water treatment chemicals using a tanker.
  • Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
  • Reporting maintenance / repair issues on trucks and / or equipment.

    • Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 2 years of CDL A driving experience.
  • Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, with tanker and hazmat endorsement.
  • Tanker experience hauling hazmat chemicals is highly preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission (no restrictions).
  • Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical.
  • Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
  • Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S..
  • Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
  • Be able to lift, push, pull 50 pounds with no assistance.
