Digital Marketing Specialist

As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and publishing digital marketing content with appealing descriptions and visuals. You will work closely with vendors to develop effective SEO, SEM, ILS, and display campaigns. Additionally, you will audit lead and contact lists, optimize marketing performance, and manage online business listings. Your role will also involve auditing and validating marketing costs, collaborating with the marketing team to ensure alignment with marketing goals, and maintaining consistent messaging for each community.

Create, maintain, and publish digital marketing content with appealing descriptions and visuals.

Collaborate with vendors for the creation of SEO, SEM, ILS, and display campaigns.

Audit lead and contact lists, segmentation, and clean up.

Optimize marketing performance and document findings and adjustments.

Manage online business listings with platforms such as Google Business Places, Yelp, and Facebook.

Audit and validate marketing costs for key campaigns and channels.

Collaborate with the marketing team to align creative execution with marketing goals.

Maintain consistent and on-brand messaging for each community.

Digital marketing expertise.

Marketing strategy and analysis skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Google Analytics.

Experience with CRM systems.

Strong writing and verbal communication skills.

Interpersonal skills with a customer service-focused mentality.

Bachelor's degree plus 2-3 years of digital marketing experience or equivalent.

SEO and SEM knowledge is a plus.

Experience in the multifamily housing industry preferred.

Ability to identify areas for change, efficiency, and innovation.

Enthusiastic approach to functioning in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

The role is onsite in Norfolk, VA, within a department of 12 people, with 6 located in Norfolk. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, in a cubicle setting. The culture promotes a strong work-life balance, encouraging the use of PTO. The work environment includes a business casual dress code from Monday to Thursday, with jeans and t-shirts allowed on Fridays. Additionally, employees enjoy catered breakfast or lunch every Friday, a snack bar, and a coffee bar. Jewish holidays are observed as additional time off.

This is a Contract position based out of Norfolk, Virginia.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00 / hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Norfolk,VA.
