Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled maintenance tech to join our team in Venice. A successful candidate will bring a strong mechanical and electrical background, excellent communication skills, eagerness to move into a higher-level position, and experience in a manufacturing plant. POSITION - Automation Maintenance Tech - Manufacturing Plant

LOCATION - Fort Myers, Florida

HOURLY RATE - $34.00 - $39.00

SHIFT - 1st Shift - 6am to 4pm - Monday - Thursday

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct front-line support of site process automation and data collection systems for manufacturing and utilities systems
  • Support Process Automation Engineering system owners for exclusive process automation systems (. SCADA, data backups,
  • Follow site procedures and technical standards for the automation function
  • Execute continuous improvement and upgrade projects for process automation systems
  • Conduct and analyze condition-based predictive maintenance activities (. infrared thermography, vibration monitoring, to detect early onset of equipment failures
  • Ability to perform mid-level mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and maintenance activities

Qualifications

  • Associate of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or extensive experience in similar roles
  • Minimum 10 years manufacturing experience : automation, controls, electrical / mechanical craft, IT
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance work
  • Language Requirement – English
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety requirements for automated and electrical systems
