Position : Restaurant Maintenance Technician

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Pay type : Full Time

Pay grades : $70,000 / year

Bonus : None

Benefits : FT Eligible Benefits

Atlas Restaurant Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair

of our Jimmy John’s restaurant's physical facility and equipment. This role involves performing

routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency repair needs. The

ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and

general facility maintenance practices in a restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

 This person will work on daily restaurant maintenance and projects as assigned

 This position will also perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and

property

 Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

 Perform building, HVAC, equipment, plumbing, electrical, and repairs as necessary

 Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies

 Assist in other equipment repair and maintenance projects as assigned by Facilities Manger

and Director.

 Create new vendor relationships

 Determine the cost effectiveness of outsourcing individual job orders

 Supervise Vendors performance

 Check and update companies internal work order tracking program

 Work with Store and Market management to determine needs of individual stores and / or

markets

 Perform all job activities using industry standard process and safety requirements

Qualifications

 Demonstrated proficiency in HVAC, Ice Machines, Ovens, Cold Tables and small appliances

repair knowledge and repair skills

 Ability to analyze a situation and decide whether it is best to repair or replace the equipment

 Able to prioritize and use sound judgment and decision-making

 Able to work well independently, with minimal supervision

 Ability to follow defined routines and processes

 Three to five years’ experience in commercial maintenance

 Most work will be in restaurant

 Must pass a Background Check

 Maintain a valid driver’s license

 Ability to work overtime as needed.
