Electrician (Night Shift)

This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining all the manufacturing equipment within the production areas. The role involves maintaining machinery and equipment in optimum working condition, providing technical assistance to operators and supervisors on mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic problems, recommending equipment replacement, and scheduling and performing preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical components for various types of manufacturing equipment, including variable speed motors, VFDS, Micromaster drives, encoders, contractors, relays, and related software programs.
• Solve electrical problems involving control wiring and board repairs and use all electrical measurement devices and mechanic tools.
• Read and interpret equipment operation and parts manuals, electrical schematics, and perform computer tasks related to work.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install low and high voltage (single, three phase) industrial electromechanical and control systems for utility and production equipment.
• Install, wire, and maintain relays, photo-eyes, limit switches, proximity switches, solenoid valves, motors, starters, VFDs, PLC I / O modules, analog control devices, and safety circuits.
• Layout circuits, install fixtures, and be able to bend and run conduit, install motors, and other electrical devices and components.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elkridge, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00 / hr.
