James & Grace Lee Boggs School is seeking a hybrid Middle School Teacher to instruct science and perform intervention work. The purpose of this position is to help accomplish the mission of the school, which is to nurture creative, critical thinkers who contribute to the well-being of their communities. Teachers are responsible for delivering a combination of established and self-created curriculum through collaboration and connection with students, colleague, families and community partners.

Qualifications

• K-8 State of Michigan Teaching Certification
• Science endorsement
• Classroom experience, preferred
• Humility and a collaborative spirit
