Job Title :

Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)

Job Specialty : Operating Room (OR)

Job Duration : 14 weeks

Shift :

10-hour days, Tuesday to Friday, Every Other Weekend

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 3 years

License : RNFA

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

Experience with Cerner charting system

Job Description :

• Provide first assistant services during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical team members.
• Adapt to different situations and environments, floating between locations as needed.
• Be available for weekend call as required.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure timely and precise documentation through the Cerner system.
• Participate in a 12-hour orientation before beginning shifts.

Note : Hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
