Summary :

This position will sell products and services offered by Owen Security to current and new clientele. The role is responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. The duties include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Account managers will work with sales leaders to help design growth strategies for their target market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
  • Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
  • Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
  • Account management : 1 year (Required)
  • At least five years of related experience required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Able to pass a drug screening.
  • Clean background check.

    The job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and multi-purpose machines.
