Role overview

As an Accounting and Financial Operations Specialist at SquareGPS, you'll handle daily financial operations that keep our business running smoothly. Reporting directly to our US-based CFO, you'll manage payroll, billing, internal reporting, and account reconciliations, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a tech-driven environment.

What You'll Do

• Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate salary payments
• Record and reconcile customer payments and service charges in the billing system
• Manage invoicing, billing adjustments, and revenue recognition activities
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing by reviewing account balances and correcting entries
• Prepare internal financial reports for management review
• Perform account reconciliations between bank, billing, and accounting systems
• Handle employee reimbursements and expense reports
• Support audit and compliance by maintaining organized financial records
• Communicate with other departments to resolve discrepancies or payment issues
