Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Location : Warner Robbins, GA (with telehealth coverage for additional sites)

Job Type : Contract (13 weeks minimum), with potential for permanent role

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

No On-Call Duties No Nights No Weekends

Job Description : We are seeking a certified Adult Psychiatrist who is comfortable treating children and adolescents. The practice is evenly split between pediatric and adult patients (50 / 50). The physician will work in an outpatient general behavioral health setting, treating both pediatric and adult patients.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct 30-minute evaluations for new patients (Behavioral Health Assessment will be completed prior to the appointment).
• Provide 15-minute follow-up appointments.
• Oversee Nurse Practitioners (NPs) at the Warner Robbins location.
• Act as a collaborator for two NPs : one specializing in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and the other in general outpatient behavioral health and covering the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) as needed.
• Utilize telehealth systems to provide care to patients at three additional sites.
