Transactional Attorney

Job Summary

The Transactional Attorney will be responsible for providing legal guidance and support on a wide range of business transactions and corporate matters. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business law, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various transactional documents, including but not limited to contracts, licensing agreements, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial leases.
  • Advise clients on business formation, governance, compliance, and regulatory issues.
  • Conduct due diligence for clients in connection with acquisitions, divestitures, and financing transactions.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and provide strategic legal advice to support their goals.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and practice groups within the firm to ensure cohesive legal representation.

    • Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in New York and in good standing.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in transactional / business law.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.

    • Compensation

    $150-225k+ depending on experience
