A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney for their Insurance Defense practice group in Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; and Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing, research, and litigation skills and be licensed to practice in Texas.
Duties
- Conduct file review and legal analysis of claims and causes of action.
- Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.
- Meet an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours.
- Represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions.
- Draft and respond to discovery requests.
- Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses.
- Prepare for and attend trials.
- Travel may be required.
