Travel Nurse Job Details Assignment Type : Travel nursing contract Location : Tacoma, WA 98405 (Washington healthcare jobs) Unit : Birth Center - Labor & Delivery Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 14, 2026 Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour nights (1900-0730) Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed) Weekend Rotation : Every other weekend (variable based on need) Estimated Weekly Salary : $2350 - $2520 per week Free badge access parking provided Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent high-acuity Labor & Delivery RN experience (5 years preferred) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Washington nursing license preferred) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (AWHONN) certification EPIC EMR experience required Ability to circulate in the OR and triage OB patients Experience with high-risk OB patients, including C-sections, preterm labor, hypertension, and post-partum hemorrhage Willingness to float within Labor & Delivery, antepartum, and postpartum units as needed L&D Nurse Responsibilities Manage labor and delivery of high-risk OB patients, including triage and active labor management Perform cervical checks and interpret fetal monitoring strips Circulate in the OR for C-sections and other obstetric procedures Provide post-partum care and transition support for mothers and newborns Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including CNAs, scrub techs, charge nurses, and physicians Utilize advanced medical technology and equipment such as EPIC, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, and fetal surveillance monitors Participate in orientation and ongoing nursing education as required Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your nursing career with this rewarding Labor & Delivery RN travel job in Tacoma, Washington!
