The military engines Industrial Operations team has a role for an Industrial Lead who will lead the early-stages of industrial planning to support the current F135 Engine Core Upgrade EDP and continue to ramp production to full rate.

We are looking for a dynamic operations individual who will lead all aspects of industrial planning. This position is fully integrated with every organization within Pratt & Whitney, which includes our partners and supply chain. You will support a CIPT (Component Integrated Product Team) within a module center and will focus on delivery, quality, and cost goals with a near term focus of Detailed Design completion. You will also focus efforts on design changes, manufacturing learning and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Responsibilities include :

  • Lead industrial planning - structure, framework and timing on sourcing and manufacturing decisions
  • Drive Material Requirements Planning (MRP) efforts for the CIPT
  • Prioritize and manage production readiness assessments
  • Develop, track, and close action items to increase capacity and capability at suppliers
  • Lead single points of failure and material changes that will impact sourcing decisions
  • Ensure transition plans are properly supported to ensure incumbents can deliver until new sources are delivering parts at production ramp rates
  • Identify risks to supplier production ramp, continuing fleet sustainment, build mitigation plans, and drive actions to closure
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of Production Readiness activities to the CIPT and Executive Management
  • Identify, quantify and elevate risk to commitments based on hardware requirements, production scheduled, etc
  • Align Program milestones with Operation capability
  • Up to 10% travel

Qualifications you must have :

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, or related field and 8 years of experience in manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, finance, or a related field; or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract
  • Qualifications we prefer :

  • Manufacturing, Engineering, Project or Program management experience
  • Experience using with SAP
  • This role is : Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

    The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
