We are in need of a Facility Van Driver for evenings and weekends.

Salary : $17 / hour

Responsibilities :

Driving van to transport residents to and from appointments.

follows transport policies and procedures, ensuring the safety of residents at all times.

Maintains accurate documentation on daily transport log.

Performs daily maintenance checks of vehicles, including brakes, tires, exhaust, and suspension. Maintains logs of these checks.

Ensure proper use of seatbelts and locking of wheelchairs when the van is in use.

Attend all required in-services.

Actively participate in teamwork,  individualized care, respect, and professionalism.

Demonstrates enthusiasm and general interest in work.

Able to lift a minimum of 5 pounds and a maximum of 45 pounds.

Other duties as assigned.

Driving van to transport agency staff to and from designated areas.

Requirements

NY State Driver's license with excellent driving record.

Patience and desire to work with nursing home residents.
